At a Glance

Located at the picturesque site near Foy’s Lake, the USTC has opened up a new horizon for the quality medical, pharmaceutical, business and modern technology education in the country. The primary objective of establishing USTC is to improve the quality and standard of education in science and technology with special emphasis on medical, pharmaceutical and social science. It also aims at developing human resources at home and in the developing countries with special emphasis on the South and South-East Asia.

University of Science and Technology Chittagong (USTC) is a first private university in Bangladesh. The university was established with the sponsorship of a private charity on May 13, 1989. Previously it was started as Institute of Applied Health Sciences (IAHS), later it was upgraded to USTC as a full phased university after the promulgation of the Private University Act, 1992.

The Janasheba Foundation was the sponsoring organization and National Professor (Dr) N Islam was appointed as the President of the USTC by the Chancellor of the University and President of People’s Republic of Bangladesh. On 18/01/2000 the Chancellor of the University appointed National Professor Dr N Islam as Vice Chancellor of USTC for four years with retrospective effect from 13 May, 1997.

Internationalization is increasingly rapid, with unhindered communication channels and inexpensive travel. Universities across the world are already seeking to make the most of the possibilities this presents by forming global partnerships and fostering relationships with other institutions.

Research collaboration is deemed to accelerate the transfer of knowledge between experts and the translation of world-class research into practical applications, which has important commercial, economic and social benefits. Collaboration between academics and practitioners can also produce new knowledge, by bringing together researchers with complementary perspectives, interests, skills and knowledge bases.

For instance, in the digital arena – which encompasses multiple streams of inquiry, from computer science and sociology to marketing and information systems – research collaboration has supported industry innovation, as well as the development of new techniques and protocols to collect, manage, analyze, and distribute digital data. The value that can be derived from research collaboration, and the potential to accelerate the discovery process.

USTC aims on International Collaboration

The University of Science and Technology Chittagong is a Centre of expertise from the Medicine to Business, Pharmacy, Engineering, Biochemistry &Biotechnology and English Language & Literature. Students and faculties benefited from working with University development and we hope,USTC will also build up therelationship with International Collaborations. International collaboration is an integrated part of USTCs activities and a prerequisite for USTC s status with an international leading university.

The Visit of Malaysian Universities by USTC High-level Team

A high-level team of University of Science and Technology Chittagong (USTC) had recently visited several universities of Malaysia with an objective to sign MoU. The visited universities include Universiti Teknologi Petronas (UTP), Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI), Heriot Watt University, Malaysia, Taylor’s University (TU), University Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) and Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). During this visit USTC signed MoU with UTP, TU, USIM and UTM; and the signing of MoUs with other three universities namely UPSI, Heriot Watt and UTM are under process. The USTC team had also visited df Automation and Robotics Sdn. Bhd, which is a robotics manufacturing company. During their five-day hectic visit (22nd April to 26th April) in Malaysia, the team got the opportunity to observe various ACTIVE teaching, learning and research activities of these universities. The team observed the present strength of each university and the opportunities available for USTC to excel its future teaching, learning and research adventure. These opportunities will in turn facilitate USTC to develop a unique active teaching, learning and research methodology, which will be very much in line with the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Hence, the graduates of USTC will become an important part to implement the Bangladesh Vision 2021 and 2041 of the present government. Therefore, it can be argued that the successful visit has been carried out by the USTC authority to strengthen the hands of the present government, especially in the education sector. Hence, below is the details of this visit and the learning of the team.

Universiti Teknologi Petronas (UTP)

On 22nd April, the members of the high-level team of USTC visited Universiti Teknologi Petronas (UTP), located 300 km North of Kulalampur. This is a private research university, sponsored by the national oil company of Malaysia, known as Petronas and hence, the name University Teknologi Petronas. The UTP started its teaching and research activities in 2003 in a campus comprises 1000 acre of land, having the main campus with beautiful architecture made with steel and glass. The fascinating building orchestrated in such a way, it delivers the vision and mission of the university. The green campus, which is well maintained, becomes an ideal place for research, teaching and learning of higher studies. The cleanliness of this campus is also its another dimension.The huge library is organized in such a way, enabling the demonstration of the presence of ocean of knowledge to its readers in a very transparent way.


The members of USTC team were graciously received by the Vice-Chancellor along with its Deputy Vice-Chancellor and other dignitaries of the university in the senate hall. The honorable VC welcomes the team members in his speech and justifies the rationale of signing MoU with USTC. This was followed by an impressive and philosophical speech from Honorable BoT Chair of USTC, received the heartiest applause from the audience.His speech had elaborated the mission and vision of USTC in a very thoughtful way. In addition, USTC team presented both the academic and research activities of USTC through a well-structured power point presentation. Finally, the signing of the MoU took place, which was signed by both VC of UTP


and BoT Chair of USTC. The members of the USTC team were invited to attend a lunch, where they took the chance to discuss the nature of research and teaching collaboration that would be framed in the coming days. One of the important aspects of this discussion consists of joint supervision of undergraduate thesis/project as well as the master thesis, involving faculty members from both UTP and USTC.

The exchange of teachers and students as well as the involvement of USTC in organizing joint seminar, workshop and conferences soon were also in the agenda of this discussion. The ultimate goal of this discussion was to explore a way, facilitating the effective collaboration. This will eventually enable publications in the reputed journals and conferences, which will benefit both the universities in obtaining higher ranking in the assessment exercises, carried out by the organizations like QS (Quacquarelli Symonds) and THE (Times Higher Education).

The Honorable Deputy Vice-Chancellor was kind enough to take the team members on a car ride around the university campus. The team members visited the Center of Excellence of Teaching and Learning (CETL) and Research Center on High Performance Computing. At the CETL, the members of the team enjoyed the activities of Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality to support active teaching. The active teaching methodology was also demonstrated, which can be employed at USTC to turn its present passive learning into active. This CETL is a center of excellence, where the teachers will find a way to improve their teaching quality substantially. We were acquainted with the state-of-the-art activities of the research center on High Performance Computing Lab. This lab is well equipped with GPU type machines to support the processing of Big Data as well as the deep learning. The team members were introduced to the PhD students of this lab. The university consists of six different kinds of research center of this type, which are turning this university into a research university.


The university is in the QS ranking and established itself as the number one research university among the private universities of Malaysia. In the latest THE ranking, UTP is ranked 98 among the Asian countries and is placed second in Malaysia.


  • The aesthetic architectural infrastructure as well as the beautiful landscape of this university reflects its vision and mission.
  • The library should be planned in such a way so that students are encouraged to spend more time there in reading the books.
  • The establishment of research centers, considering many themes, are necessary. In this way, a university can be turned into one that elongates the path for research.
  • The mission and vision of a university should be framed in such a way so that it can become a good candidate for evaluation by both the QS and THE. This will allow to identify the factors on which the university should put emphasis, for example academic reputation, employer reputation, faculty/student ratio, citations per faculty, international faculty ratio and international student ratio, collaboration with universities, well designed class rooms and many others.
  • The security of the university is also important, and each university should have a separate security department.

Sultan Idris Education University [Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI)]

On 23rd April at around 10:00 am the USTC team visited UPSI, which is 70 km North of Kula Lampur. Deputy Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Mohammad Shandari Gani Bin Hamzah attended the meeting with USTC team. Likewise, UTP, USTC team presented the teaching and research activities of USTC. UPSI is more focused on the learning pedagogy since it is an education-based university. Hence, this university puts less emphasis on the engineering education. The university promotes the basic science research. This is one of the oldest universities of Malaysia, established in 1922. The landscape of the university is impressive. Since it is located 70 KM far away from KL, it is really an ideal place to carry out quality teaching, learning and research. The university is very much interested to do research collaboration with USTC with an objective to publish research papers in the reputed journals and conferences. At this point, USTC team shared their concrete plan on how to achieve the substantive research collaboration, spanning from joint undergraduate project-thesis supervision, joint master thesis supervision to joint PhD program. UPSI showed interest to create a matching fund to carry out joint research where both the universities will contribute equally.


The USTC team accompanied by the UPSI representatives visited one of their campus. In this campus, the team members were familiarized with active teaching pedagogy. USTC team was amazed by the dedicated research and active teaching activities of Dr. Jaafar, a professor of physics of UPSI. He could be considered as the role model to the university teachers. Therefore, USTC plans to invite him soon. He did his PhD from a UK university.

The team also visited a lab, which is equipped with a high power Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) spectroscopy. This gave us an opportunity to understand the ongoing research in nanotechnology at UPSI. The Biotechnology Department of USTC will take initiative to do some collaborative research in this area with UPSI.


  • We should put more emphasis on the active teaching pedagogy.
  • The research in basic science is also very much important.

HERIOT WATT University, Malaysia

In the very afternoon of 23rd April, the USTC team visited Heriot Watt University, which is the Malaysian Campus of a Scottish University. This university was founded in Scotland, UK in 1821 and its motto is “See the world, then change it”. This university holds a rich heritage and is valued for its pioneering research. The university is ranked among 302 in QS World University Rankings, 351-400 in 2019 Times Higher Education World University Rankings. The teams’ intention behind visiting this university is not only to sign a MoU but also to observe the viability of establishing the local campus of a renowned foreign university in the soil of Malaysia. In doing so, the team visited several lecture theaters, equipped with the state-of-the-art teaching and learning facilities. The team also visited the library and observed the environment that enables the students to concentrate solely to their study rather than anything else. Basically, the team captured a sense of UK based education system, which still is considered as pioneering in the world.

The USTC team was thrilled by the mesmerizing architecture of this university, located at the capital of Malaysia, known as Putra Jaya. At the back of this university, there stands a beautiful lake. The fascinating buildings of Ministry of Education and Tourism are located near to this university.


The USTC team was warmly received by Professor Mushtak Al-Atabi, Provost and Chief Executive Officer, Janice Yew, Registrar, Professor Lynne Jack, Director of Research and M L Dennis Wong, Professor and Deputy Provost. In the meeting with, the team discussed how to develop an effective collaboration between USTC and Heriot Watt University, Malaysia. The discussion covered the possibility of student exchange, joint and reciprocal study tour conduction, and joint research project, joint education program at Bachelor, Master and Doctoral levels. USTC team presented the teaching and research activities as well as the physical infrastructure of USTC. Finally, Heriot Watt University, Malaysia Campus agreed to sign a MoU with USTC.

Taylor’s University

On 24th April, the USTC team visited Taylor’s University. This is a private university, located in Subang Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia. It was founded in 1969 as a college, was awarded university college status in 2006, and university status in 2010. Taylor’s University offers undergraduate degrees, post-graduate degrees, and professional programs. This university consist of four faculties, including Faculty of Innovation and Technology, Faculty of Business and Law, Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences and Faculty of Social Sciences and Leisure Management. Therefore, there is an ample opportunity of developing collaboration among the various faculties of this university, since USTC has most of the faculties in line with the ones TU have.

The campus of TU located at the center of Kuala Lumpur. So, it was interesting for USTC team to see how a university in such location, planned and designed. Both UTP and UPSI are located far away from Kuala Lumpur and have enough land to plan and design their buildings in a horizontal way, meaning less absence of tall buildings. This is not the case with TU rather they have considered vertical extension of their buildings. We observed a very dynamic and lively academic environment of this university. This university is ranked at no. 135 in Asia in the QS Asia University Rankings 2019. Taylor’s University was also recognized as the no. 14 university in the world for Hospitality and Leaisure Management by QS World Universities Rankings by Subject 2019. The QS Global World ranking of this university is in between 601-650.


The USTC team was welcomed by Professor Dr. David Asirvatham, Executive Dean, Faculty of Built Environment, Engineering, Technology and Design along with Prof. Dr. Satesh Namasivayam, Head of School and Professor Engineering Science, School of Engineering, Faculty of Innovation and Technology and Dr. Raja Kumar Murugesan, Associate Professor and Head of Research, School of Computing and IT, Faculty of Innovation and Technology. An overview of the teaching and research activities of Taylor’s University was presented to the USTC team through power point presentation. USTC team presented the academic activities of USTC. Honorable BoT Chair of USTC in his talk focused on the teaching and research strength of Faculty of Basic Medicine and Pharmaceutical Sciences. This can be utilized to develop an effective research and teaching collaboration with the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences of TU. USTC team also delineated the opportunity of developing research collaboration at various levels between the two universities starting from undergraduate joint thesis/project supervision, joint master thesis supervision and joint PhD program. The outcomes of such research collaboration ultimately would play significant role to increase the publications in the reputed journals and conferences. USTC team discussed in details the areas of research where both the universities can be engaged in pursuing cutting-edge research, especially around Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR). Prof. Dr. Satesh Namasivayam also presented the scope of research collaboration in the area of 4IR. Finally, a MoU signed between USTC and TU. USTC team was invited to take a tour of the campus, enabling them to observe the teaching and learning facilities of TU.

University Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM)

In the afternoon of 24th April, USTC team visited USIM. This university is an emerging Islamic university which is fully owned and funded by the Malaysian Government. Being the 12th Public Institution of Higher learning, it aims to spearhead knowledge and be the global reference centre for Islamic Science. USIM thus offers a unique model to Islamic Higher Education setting it apart from other Islamic universities worldwide. The integration of religious sciences together with the social and physical sciences in all its programs provides a comprehensive understanding of current global problems and offers a fresh alternative in solving them. USIM has nine faculties with 32 undergraduate programs in economy, law, syariah, dawah, management, Quran and Sunnah, Fiqh, counselling, communication, medicine, science and information technology, dentistry and accounting. Hence, an effective teaching and research collaboration between USIM and USTC, especially in the area of management, medicine, dentistry, accounting, computer science and many others would be developed.


The USTC team was generously received by the Vice-Chancellor of USIM Professor Dr. Musa Ahmed, who did his both M.Sc. and PhD from The University of Manchester, UK. As soon as the team reached the Vice-Chancellor’s office, the Honourable BoT Chiar, USTC and VC, USIM signed the MoU. This was followed by the discussion on the possible future collaboration between the two universities. USTC team presented the teaching and research activities of USTC, where they pointed out the possible areas of collaboration. The team members discussed the possibility of remote supervision of PhD candidate by involving one supervisor from USIM and the other from USTC. USIM was found very much interested in the proposed mode of supervision.

Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM)

In the morning of 25th April, the USTC team visited UTM. This university has regional and international academic collaborations. Including Intel, Altera and Proton. UTM is one of the few public universities in Malaysia that has attained research university status, opening avenues for research and industrial collaboration through government research grants.

On 8 January 2012, the Malaysian ministry of Higher Education declared UTM to be the first Malaysian university to attain full autonomy from the government. This allows the university to select the best of the regional students, as well as handle most of the management internally for a more efficient administration. This university focuses its research mainly in engineering, science and technology and located in Skudai, Jojor, which is about 317km south of Kuala Lumpur. The state of Johor, known for its beaches and rainforests, has a causeway connecting it with the city state of Singapore. It has a branch campus in Kuala Lumpur.


The motto of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia is “in the name of god for mankind”. UTM's core values are: committed, communicative, creative, consistent and competent. UTM is a graduate-focused university with 56% of its student population consisting of postgraduate students, the highest in Malaysia. As of 2015, UTM has more than 5,000 international students from more than 120 countries, the highest research university in Malaysia.

The university is ranked between 601-800 in the THE 2019 world university ranking. It is ranked 125th in Asia in the THE 2019 ranking. It is interesting to note that UTP (Universiti Teknologi Petronas) is also ranked between 601-800 in the THE 2019 world university ranking. But UTP is ranked 98th in Asia in the THE 2019 ranking which is higher than that of UTM. The subjects taught at UTM include Engineering and Technology, Arts and Humanities, Business and Economics, Computer Science, Life Sciences, Education, Social Sciences and Psychology. Hence, USTC would benefit a lot if an academic collaboration with UTM can be accomplished, since both the universities teach the common subjects. USTC would be benefited in terms of research from this collaboration because UTM has very strong research background and reputation as evident from the result of recent THE exercise.


The USTC team was received at UTM by Dr. Nor Haniza Sarmin, Professor of Mathematics and Assistant Director of Student Service and Global Education Experience. USTC team presented the academic and research activities of USTC as well as they proposed mode of collaboration, mainly consisting of teacher and student exchange, joint research collaboration and joint PhD program. The signing of a Letter of Co-operation (LOC) with UTM is under process. The meeting with the Dean of Faculty of Engineering Prof. Dr. Mohammad Rafiq, who did his PhD from London School of Economics, UK in 2005, was also very much successful. Because it will be possible for the faculty members of USTC to do MPhil and PhD by following the procedure of remote supervision. The faculty members of USTC those have only bachelor degree can do two years MPhil degree following the procedures of remote supervision. Professor Rafiq also presented the teaching and research activities of UTM through his power point presentation.

DF Automation and Robotics Sdn. Bhd.

The collaboration between university and industry is also very much essential, enabling the incubation of business ideas by the students. Keeping this in mind, the USTC team visited a company named DF Automation and Robotics in the afternoon of 25th April. The team was gladly received by the owner of this company Dr. Yeong Che Fai, who did his PhD from London School of Economics, UK. He is also the senior lecturer of UTM as well as the co-founder of five other companies. Hence, he be a person who combines the knowledge of academia with industry. He is also a TED speaker. A person is considered as a TED speaker, who is a thinker, doer and idea generator. Basically, TED stands for Technology, Entertainment and Design, where these three are converging.


This robotics industry is manufacturing Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV). AGV is a mobile robot that can automatically navigate and transport materials from one location to another. It is suitable for manufacturing, textile, automotive, food and beverage, warehousing, hospital operations, etc. AGV can also be used in the garment factory of our country. The beauty of this robotics industry is that it encompasses all the activities in manufacturing AGV, starting from idea generation, its design and programming, assembling hardware components as well as packaging for shipment in an integrated framework. It is nice to observe, how the knowledge or the ideas are taking real shape.

This industry requires people with expertise in the area of software development, mechanical engineering, electronics engineering, mechatronics engineering and marketing. Many employees having these expertise’s were found working in this robotics industry during the visit. Hence, this industry can be considered as an ideal place for pursuing internship. USTC is planning to establish such a robotics lab under the National Professor Dr. Nurul Islam Institute for Fourth Industrial Revolution. From this context, collaboration with this company will teach USTC’s student an integrated framework of thinking, doing and generating ideas. In the meeting with Dr. Yeong, USTC team raised this point and he was found very much enthusiastic to develop this collaboration. Some of USTC’s students may be sent for internship. Dr. Yeong also demonstrated USTC team members the procedures of formulating a startup business in the light of real-world examples. This kind of knowledge is necessary for the proposed incubator center under the National Professor Dr. Nurul Islam Institute for Fourth Industrial Revolution. Although Dr. Yeong’s company is manufacturing robots to support assembly line activities of an industry, he has plan to expand this to address its supply chain aspect. Later, he will focus on how to support service sector with the help of robots. These are the some aspects, which USTC would consider in the proposed robotics lab. The team members also observed that Dr. Yeong’s robotics industry drew significant attention from the local print and electronic medias due to its unique innovation.

Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM)

The USTC team visited UKM in the morning of 26th April. Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) – otherwise known as the National University of Malaysia –has bases in Bangi, Cheras and Kuala Lumpur, and was established in 1970. It was appointed as one of four research universities in Malaysia in 2006 due to its background in quality research. Key areas of focus for the university are energy related, which include earth sciences and biotechnology. Research from the university has helped propel various Malaysian industries, within engineering, architecture and food science. UKM won the Prime Minister's Quality Award in 2006, which demonstrates the university’s efforts at providing quality education and management. Its teaching hospital, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Medical Centre is located in Cheras and also has a branch campus in Kuala Lumpur. There are 17,500 undergraduate students enrolled, and 5,105 postgraduate students of which 1,368 are foreign students from 35 countries. The university consists of 12 faculties. Among them Faculty of Engineering and Built Environment, Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Medicine and Faculty of Information Science and Technology are very much related to the subjects taught at USTC. UKM is ranked in between 601-800 in the THE 2019 World university ranking. It is 179th in Asia in THE 2019 ranking.


The USTC team was gladly received by the Dean of Faculty of Engineering and Built Environment Professor Dr. Shahrir Abdullah and his team. USTC team had elaborated the teaching and research activities of USTC as well as delineated the area of collaboration. Honorable BoT chair in his speech focused the strength of USTC in the area of Medical science, where an effective collaboration can also be formulated. Finally, Honourable BoT chair and the Dean of Faculty of Engineering and Built Environment signed the MoU, which will open the avenue of future teaching and research collaboration between the two universities.

In the afternoon of 26th April, the USTC team visited the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Medical Centre with an objective to explore the possibility of collaboration between the Medical Faculty of USTC and Faculty of Medicine of UKM. The team members were received by Dr. NG Beng Kwang and discussed the details of the possible collaboration.

Findings and Conclusion

From the above it can be observed that during the Malaysian trip starting from 22nd April to 26th April, the USTC team visited seven reputed universities and a robotics industry. The team members used every second effectively and it was possible because of the design of a well scheduled program. Altogether, the team attended ten meetings.

The world ranking of most of the visited universities either in QS world or in THE is impressive. For example, the world ranking of UTP, UKM and UTM in THE 2019 are in between 601 -800. On the other hand, UTP is the 98th ranked university in Asia according to THE 2019, while UKM is 125th ranked university in Asia according to THE 2019. UKM is the 170th ranked university in Asia according to THE 2019. Among Malaysian universities, the ranking of UTP is the second according to THE 2019. Therefore, from the above data, it can be argued that the above three universities possess good ranking. Hence, it is really a great honor for USTC as the first private university of Bangladesh to sign MoUs with these universities. Eventually, these MoUs will play an important role to take USTC at the level of those universities in the near future. The reason for this is that all the three universities agreed to do student and teacher exchange, joint research collaboration starting from undergraduate thesis/ project supervision, joint master thesis supervision and remote MPhil and PhD supervision. The concept of remote MPhil and PhD supervision involves the assignment of one supervisor from each university to carry out these research degrees.

In addition, joint and reciprocal study tour conduction will be achieved. The knowledge sharing in terms of sharing e-library, data lore, faculty bank and research lab will also be carried out. The organization of joint international conferences, seminars and workshops will be carried out in the near future. Moreover, joint research project will be launched by providing matching fund by the universities. For example, UTP and UPSI have agreed to provide matching fund to do joint research. Taylor’s University (TU), especially interested to do joint research in the area of Fourth Industrial Revolution. This university is 135 in Asia according to QS ranking. UTP and UPSI will help USTC to implement active teaching learning methodology, which will turn the passive learner into active. UPSI will help USTC to develop effective learning pedagogy.

The nanotechnology lab of UPSI would like to do research collaboration with Biotechnology department of USTC. Similarly, TU’s faculty of medicine will collaborate with Pharmacy and Biotechnology Department. Most importantly, the renowned Faculty of Medicine of UKM will collaborate with the Medical Faculty of USTC. In addition, the faculty of social sciences will also able to develop collaboration with UKM, TU, UTM, USIM and many others. In this way, it can be observed that the Malaysian visit by a high-level team of USTC has created a plethora of teaching and research opportunities for all the departments of USTC. Eventually, this will play an important role to turn USTC into a world class center of excellence in research and teaching.

The visit of the high-level team to a robotics industry has simply enhanced this adventure further. It is interesting to note that, the USTC team visited three different categories of universities consisting of private (UTP and TU), public/government (USIM, UKM, UTM and UPSI) and a branch of foreign university (Heriot Watt). Hence, the team members got the experience of three different types of research and teaching environment. The visited universities again can be categorized in terms of location, for example some located at the center of city (TU, UKM, Heriot Watt) and the others (UTP, UTM, UPSI, USIM) located far away from the city. Hence, the team members have also acquainted with two difference types of teaching and learning environment. The above experience would become valuable to design the teaching and learning activities of USTC in its context, since it has campuses at the center of city as well as far away from the city.

We have been seeing an optimistic change in many organizations’ mindset when it comes to collaboration. Collaboration has always been a moving target, and in modern times we shouldn’t be surprised that new technological innovations are again shifting how humans work and coordinate together. Collaboration on projects is happening in real-time, at all times of the day, and this has several benefits. It brings together a broader range of skills and perspectives, makes teams more creative in knowledge based economy, reduces errors and wasted money, and enhances both decision-making.
